It's troubling to see how many students these days have totally zero school pride. They don't bother about their community, they don't participate in events, and they just seem apathetic. It's like they've lost sight of what it means to be part of a team and cheer for their fellow students. This lack of enthusiasm is detrimental to the entire school atmosphere.

Man, this cap just won't cooperate! It's giving me to adjust it, but it still feels awkward. Maybe my head is a strange shape. I guess it goes to show you that sometimes fit just right.

Not My Alma Mater
When I read the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't evoke feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a unfamiliar concept. Maybe because my years there were not like others, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to reflect. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't have the same significance for me as it does for others.
It's not that I dislike my time at school. It was a period of growth, just not one that feels familiar in the way many people describe.
Perhaps it's because I discovered my passions away from the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are defined by different experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.
I Bleed Red
The world doesn't accept that I bleed a different hue. They stare with fear as I reveal the reality of my existence. My essence is a sign of {somethingunique that they can't grasp. They classify me as other, but I am simply unique.
School Spirit? Never Heard Of Her
Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing school swag and participating in lame competitions. I value knowledge, not glorified cheering.

Craving That Deliciousness
Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me chips and dip any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ read more party truly unforgettable.
